How do I put a watermark on a PDF?

Upload a PDF, enter the watermark text, check the preview, and download. By default, PDFMK repeats a light mark over the content on every page so it stays visible on images and scans. You can choose Behind content in More settings; opaque images may hide that layer.

Can I remove the watermark later?

No, once a watermark is added, it becomes part of the PDF. Keep your original file if you need a non-watermarked version.

Will my files be stored?

The visual preview is generated locally in your browser. When you create the watermarked PDF, only watermark text and appearance settings are sent to prepare a small asset. The PDF is processed on your device. If local processing cannot finish, the PDF is automatically uploaded over HTTPS for temporary server processing. There is no account document history or permanent result link. See Security & File Handling.

Can I watermark specific pages only?

Yes. Choose Selected pages in the main setup, then enter individual pages or ranges such as 1, 3, 5-8.

What processing limits apply?

Upload one PDF up to 100 MB and 300 pages. Watermark text is limited to 200 characters.
