Terms of Service

These terms govern access to PDFMK and the documents you choose to process through its tools.

Last updated: July 18, 2026

1. Agreement

By using PDFMK, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement or use the service with authorization from a parent, guardian, or organization.

2. The service

PDFMK provides browser interfaces for submitting documents to a server that performs PDF operations and returns a result. Features may change, and processing may be limited by file complexity, page count, available resources, or security controls. PDFMK does not promise that every valid PDF feature, annotation, form, signature, bookmark, or metadata field will survive every transformation.

3. Your documents and permissions

You retain your rights in the files you submit. You give PDFMK the limited permission needed to receive, process, and return a document for the operation you request. You are responsible for having the right to process the file and for complying with privacy, confidentiality, copyright, and records-management obligations that apply to it.

Keep an original copy and inspect the output before relying on it. Do not use PDFMK when a law, contract, court rule, employer policy, or professional obligation requires an approved offline or managed system.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use PDFMK to:

  • process material you do not have permission to use;
  • distribute malware, illegal content, or material that violates another person's rights;
  • probe, bypass, overload, or interfere with security and rate-limiting controls;
  • automate requests in a way that degrades the service for others; or
  • misrepresent PDFMK output as authenticated, certified, legally signed, or officially verified.

5. Availability and results

The service and editorial content are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, PDFMK disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, recovery of a failed upload, preservation of every PDF feature, or suitability of an output for filing, printing, accessibility, archiving, or evidentiary use.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PDFMK is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost data, revenue, or opportunity arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your safest workflow is to retain the source, test with a copy, and verify the downloaded result.

7. Third-party services and changes

Hosting, security, and advertising may rely on third-party providers described in the Privacy Policy. We may update the service or these terms to reflect operational, legal, or security changes. The date above identifies the current version.

8. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@pdfmk.com. Product questions belong on the contact page.
